The Council of Ministers is expected to impose stringent measures in their press briefing shortly, stating starting next week, clubs and salons are to completely remain shut, while commercial malls and restaurants are required to remain shut from 8pm to 5 am, Al-Qabas daily reported, quoting sources. This is a measure against the rising coronavirus cases, and failure of the public to adhere to health regulations. The coronavirus-induced suspension of scheduled international passenger flights has been extended till February 28, aviation regulator DGCA said on Thursday. "However, international scheduled flights may be allowed on selected routes by the competent authority on a case-to-case basis," the Directorate General of Civil Aviation added. Scheduled international passenger services have been suspended in India since March 23 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
