Kuwait sees a decline in cases, iiQ8, COVID-19 cases decline
Intensive Care Unit occupancy drops to between 8 and 10%
The spokesman of Kuwait’s Ministry of Health, Abdullah Al Sanad, revealed on Wednesday that Kuwait has become one of the countries that is witnessing a decline in COVID-19 cases.
While Kuwait has seen stability in containing the spread of the virus, Al Sanad called on citizens and residents to continue to adhere to the health measures put in place.
In the past week, the per cent of confirmed COVID-19 cases to swabs conducted, averaged around 4.6 per cent, a steep decline from the past few months where the average was sitting at 10 to 12 per cent.
In addition, on Wednesday Kuwait did not report any COVID-19 deaths.
