Kuwait City, 30th January 2021: Indian DGCA suspended flights till 28th February, iiQ8 Indian Director of General Civil Aviation - extended the suspension of international flights till 28th February, 2021. The coronavirus-induced suspension of scheduled international passenger flights has been extended till February 28, aviation regulator DGCA said on Thursday. "However, international scheduled flights may be allowed on selected routes by the competent authority on a case-to-case basis," the Directorate General of Civil Aviation added. Scheduled international passenger services have been suspended in India since March 23 due to the coronavirus pandemic. But special international flights have been operating under the Vande Bharat Mission since May and under bilateral "air bubble" arrangements with selected countries since July. Kuwait City, 28th January 2021: MoI gives new grace period to residency violators 2nd March is deadline to rectify illegal residents status, iiQ8, MOI announced Minister of Interior Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali Al-Sabah on Wednesday issued a decision giving a new grace period to residency violators to help them adjust their status as of the first of February and March 2nd. Those who didn't adjust their residency status during this period will be punished, in line with the law, prevented from obtaining valid residency and deported, the Ministry's security media department said in a statement. They also will not be allowed to come back to Kuwait, it added. The decision gives further time for the violators to legalize their status so as to avoid any punishment and measures to be taken by the ministry after the end of this period, it noted.
