Kuwait City, 6th March 2021:

26 categories excluded from the partial curfew in Kuwait, iiQ8

Ministry of Kuwait announced that, the below categories not included in the partial curfew.

1. Ministers
2. Members of the National Assembly
3. Ministry of Health
4. Judges, the public prosecutor, the attorney general, the assistants of the attorney general, the public prosecution directors.
5. The Kuwaiti Army, National Guard and General Fire Brigade
6. Engineers of the Ministry of Works and the General Authority for Roads and Land Transport
7. The employees working at the Ministry of Electricity and Water and the employees working on operational contracts and contractors
8. Employees of the Kuwait Barriers Authority
9. Kuwait Airways employees (pilots – air-hostesses – engineers, ground service providers)
10. The employees of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and the employees of the aviation companies providing ground services at Kuwait Airport
11. The General Administration of Customs (security barcode identity needed)
12. People who suffer from chronic diseases + emergency health cases
13. All employees in private hospitals and medical laboratories
14. Companies operating unloading, shipping and customs clearance in ports
15. The employees of Jazeera Airways (pilots – airhostesses – engineers, ground service providers)
16. Passengers “departing / arriving” are allowed only one person to accompany the passenger and for delivery
17. Imams and muezzins
18. Employees of contracting companies contracting with the Ministry of Works and the Roads and Land Transport Authority
19. Managers and supervisors of cleaning companies 20. The workers of cleaning companies contracting with
21. Laundromat and grave diggers
22. General suppliers of foodstuffs, vegetables and consumables for cooperative societies
23. Allowing private vehicles to transport vegetables and fruits from Abdali and Al-Wafra farms to cooperative societies
24. Employees of Kuwait Mills, Flour and Bakeries Company, Kuwait Catering Company.
25. Employees of Water pumping stations located in all governorates
26. Employees working on sewage
