PACI allocates morning period to Citizens only, Cards Collection open for all Kuwait City, 12th September, 2020 : The Public Authority for Civil Information allocates the morning period to receive citizens and citizens of the Cooperation Council from 9 am to 1 pm, and the evening period from 2 pm to 6 pm to receive arrivals in the main building in South Surra to complete and record transactions. For distribution of Civil ID cards the authority continues to deliver the cards as usal, from 6 AM to 6 PM for all Kuwaiti and Expats. PACI working for 12 hours, to end crowding within 45 days, iiQ8 15,000 cards per day being issued: official Kuwait City, 11th September, 2020: Compensating for the downtime of the corona crisis and keeping pace with severe crowding, Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) started working for 12 hours – from six in the morning to six in the evening – to deliver the “ready cards” at a rate of 15,000 cards a day compared to 12,000 issued last week. This indicates the end of crowding in the authority in just 45 days, according to the Director of Production and Distribution Department at the Public Authority for Civil Information Jassem Al-Mithen, reports AlQabas daily. Increase in renewal fees of vehicle registration book Kuwait City, 10th September, 2020: Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs at the Interior Ministry Major-General Jamal Al Sayegh has issued a circular to all General Traffic Departments in all Governorates to activate the Law No. 67 for the year 1976, and executive regulations No. 81 for the year 1976 related to the renewal fees of the registration book of the vehicles which states that fees for renewal of private vehicle is KD 5, heavy transport vehicles (bus) KD 15, private transport (mini bus) KD 10, private and public transport (pick up) KD 10, reports Al-Seyassah / Arab Times daily.
