యమము (లయ) నుపొందించువాడు.

యముడు లేదా యమధర్మరాజు హిందూ పురాణాలలో తరచు కనవచ్చే ఒక పాత్ర.

నరక లోకానికి అధిపతి. సూర్యుని కుమారుడు.

పాపుల పాపములను లెక్క వేయుచూ, సమయము ఆసన్నమైనపుడు ప్రాణములు తీయుట యముని పని. కాలుడు అని మరియొక పేరు .

Yamudu or Yamadharmaraju is a character often found in Hindu mythology.

Head of Hell. Son of the sun.

It is Yamuna’s job to count the sins of sinners and to take lives when the time is near. Another name for foot.

Yamudu is the head of the southern direction, the great sage, the devotee.

Nachiketu was taught the philosophy of the soul (Kathopanishattu). He described the greatness of God to his messengers (Skanda Purana).

Yamuna has an assistant named Chitragupta to count the number of sinners.
