Kuwait City, 21st September, 2020 : Airport to be fully operational when COVID vaccine available The Executive Committee for the restarting of Commercial Flights decided to exempt the aircraft and technical crews from the 14-day home quarantine period, as per the procedures by the Ministry of Health to examine them continuously during specific periods. This was as per what was stated by the Deputy Director General for Kuwait Airport Affairs, Saleh Al-Fadaghi, as currently all arrivals there have been no new procedures about reducing home quarantine or allowing them to be institutionalized. Kuwait City, 20th September, 2020: MOH approves list of doctors, nurses and technicians stranded abroad The Ministry of Health has forwarded the list of doctors, nurses and technicians assigned in public hospitals and health facilities, who are stranded abroad, to the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to facilitate their return to Kuwait within the next few days. Sources disclosed those covered by the decision include 300 to 500 doctors, technicians and nurses; affirming the ministry is keen on taking the necessary measures for them to return to the country soon in cooperation with its Foreign Affairs counterpart and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
