Kuwait Council of Ministers hold extraordinary meeting 13.08.2020, iiQ8
Fourth phase begins from 18th Aug – Partial curfew to continue till next Thursday
Kuwait City, 13th August, 2020:
The Kuwait Cabinet held its extraordinary meeting this afternoon via video communication headed by His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, and after the meeting.
Then the Cabinet followed up the latest developments on preventive levels and the logistical services related to efforts to combat Corona virus and viewed the recommendations of the Corona Emergency Ministerial Committee and the Cabinet decided the following:
First:
Emphasizing that visit visas (visas) of all kinds are not granted to all nationalities of the world without the approval of the Ministerial Committee for Corona Emergency.
Second:
Approval of the resumption of football activity to prepare for tournaments, provided that the activities take place without the presence of audience from 15th Aug adhering to health requirements in this regard.
Third:
The adoption of fifth phase activities in the fourth phase of the gradual return to normal life plan
Fourth:
1- Assigning the ministers of each field related to implement the requirements of the fourth phase return to normal life from Tuesday (18-8-2020).
2 – allow some of the activities listed in the fifth phase of work during the fourth phase of the plan for a gradual return to normal life , namely: (sports and health clubs – Goods Personal Care (salons and barber) and tailoring shops and concerns adhering to health precautions.
3 – Maintaining the partial curfew imposed in all regions of the State of Kuwait, provided that this decision will be reviewed on Thursday 20-8-2020.
