🚩In Ramayana everyone on the seashore was wondering about the ways to reach Lanka to find Sita Mata. Hanuman was also lost in thoughts. He had no idea of His capability. Jambavan(Jambvant) was an old and wise bear.

🚩He came to Hanuman and told Him that He could cross the sea. Hanuman didn’t believe him. Jambavan reminded Hanuman that He was cursed by Matang Rishi in His childhood as He used to disturb the Rishis during their meditation and penance.

🚩Matang Rishi cursed Hanuman that He would forget all His powers and capabilities. Matang Rishi reduced the effect of the curse by stating that Hanuman would remember His powers at the right moment.

कहइ रीछपति सुनु हनुमाना। का चुप साधि रहेहु बलवाना॥
पवन तनय बल पवन समाना। बुधि बिबेक बिग्यान निधाना॥
