S.Aishwarya & her sister S.Saundarya are two of the most popular Carnatic musicians from the younger generation. They are the great-granddaughters of Bharat Ratna M. S. Subbulakshmi and the grand-daughters of Sangeeta Ratnakara Dr.Radha Viswanathan and the torch bearers of the precious MS and Radha Legacy.
S.Aishwarya began her first lessons from Smt.M.S Subbulakshmi and Smt.Radha Viswanathan when she was hardly 4 years old. The huge repertoire of songs which was part of the MS Bani, was painstakingly taught to Aishwarya by her Grandmother Dr.Radha for a period of 20 years.
S.Aishwarya is a disciple of Karnataka Kalashree Smt.Jambu Kannan. She currently learns the Veena from Smt. B. Nagalakshmi.
