Job Opening in Kuwait – Operation & Maintenance Manager | Jereh Oil & Gas
Company: M/s Jereh Oil & Gas Engineering Corporation
Location: Kuwait (North Kuwait – Jurassic Fields)
Project: Testing, processing, and handling of wet and sour hydrocarbon well fluids
Jereh Oil & Gas is looking for an experienced and driven Operation & Maintenance Manager for immediate placement in Kuwait. This is a leadership role for someone with a strong background in Oil & Gas operations, plant maintenance, and EPC projects.

Position: Operation & Maintenance Manager
Job Description:
As the O&M Manager, you will oversee all operational and maintenance activities of the process plant. You will ensure safe, efficient, and profitable operations, while driving improvements and managing multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Operations & Maintenance team across the entire process, including forecasting, planning, and target achievement
- Develop new strategies to increase production safely and cost-efficiently
- Ensure site personnel adhere to HSE policies and take corrective actions when necessary
- Operate and maintain the project for optimal performance and profitability
- Prepare and manage budgets, operational expenses, subcontractor agreements, and proposals
- Manage commissioning and startup of new projects or plant modifications, ensuring compliance with standards and contract specifications
- Direct planning and execution of maintenance programs and major shutdowns
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, internal teams, management, and industry partners
- Take corrective actions to rectify operational variances and improve efficiency
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, or related)
- 15+ years of professional experience in Oil & Gas surface facilities EPC or Operations & Maintenance
- 8+ years O&M experience in process plants, preferably with Sour Gas Treatment/SRU or JPF experience
- Experience with Kuwait Oil Company projects is required
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills
- Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas field procedures and plant operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred / Additional:
- Available in Kuwait with transferable visa (Article 18)
- Kuwait Society of Engineers membership or eligibility is valued
