Job Summary

The Receptionist reports to the Showroom Manager and provides administrative support to all Central Services and Support Operations of the Automotive division of Alghanim Industries.

Job Responsibilities

  • Welcomes customers and direct them to the appropriate representative
  • Responsible for maintaining all files
  • Arranging and coordinating the manager’s schedule
  • Coordination of all archive support for Automotive division
  • Writing and translating all facility correspondence (Arabic and English)
  • Organizing travel and hotel accommodation for all managerial staff
  • Responsible for preparing employees change of status forms
  • Coordinating with HR office on all personal matters relating showroom staff

Handling all incoming and outgoing mail for the manager

Candidate Requirements

  • Must be able to speak and write Arabic and English
  • Must be self-motivating, personable, able to handle demanding customers
  • Good communication skills
  • Pleasant personality
  • Presentable and professional
  • Able to work on computer (Word, Excel, Internet etc.)
  • Team player and punctual

Willing to work two shifts (8:00 – 12:00 and 4:30 – 8:00)

HR Officer – Recruitment & Onboarding – Retail

Job Summary

The HR Officer will work closely with the Recruitment team and business stakeholders to ensure that the offered candidates are onboarding and joining the company on the agreed joining date. The jobholder will be required to coordinate with the Employee Services team to ensure smooth transfer of residency, NOC conversion or registration of Kuwaiti nationals.

Individuals working in this team need to have a passion for providing a smooth onboarding experience to candidates, excellent communication skills and an ability to multi-task. This is a rewarding role in a busy, fast paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

•    Manage on-boarding candidates [local & overseas] to ensure a smooth transition to Kuwait and the company. This will include coordination with Employee Services to arrange all relevant paperwork pertaining to visas, work permits, residency, local transfer & medicals etc.
•    Support the talent acquisitions team with screening and scheduling interviews if required
•    Prepare and process payment invoices
•    Develop and maintain tracker to monitor the onboarding candidates and their statuses
•    Manage airport services, accommodation, transportation, etc.. for new joiners
•    Build relations with the ES team for an effective and smooth residency or NOC conversion process.

Candidate Requirements

  • A positive attitude and well developed people skills with strong emotional intelligence
  • Excellent communication skills in English & Arabic
  • A pro-active self-starter who can operate both individually and as a part of a team
  • A strong customer focus
  • Process orientation, calm under pressure with an ability to solve problems
  • Academic Diploma or University Graduate, preferably in Human Resource Management  -Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.

Job Summary

To assist customers by enhancing and promoting sales of products and services in the showroom. The job role focuses on obtaining the knowledge and skills to identify and fulfil customer needs, and direct sales transactions to achieve overall sales targets in cash, credit, warranty programs and accessories.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, and approach them to offer assistance and determine their needs.
  • Maintain a professional and presentable appearance at all times.
  • Use your knowledge of sanitary and tile products to advise customers on suitable products, features, and benefits.
  • Achieve personal sales targets by converting as many customers as possible into making a purchase.
  • Foster a culture of cooperation, professionalism, and optimism within the sales team, while displaying a positive attitude at all times.
  • Regularly check and maintain your area of the showroom, ensuring that products are replenished, displays are clean and tidy, and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Implement promotions, layout changes, and seasonal moves within the showroom effectively.
  • Handle products safely and carefully to minimize damage and keep shrinkage costs to a minimum.
  • Maintain regular, open, and honest communication with the Section Head / Showroom Supervisors.
  • Provide feedback to the Section Head on the product, pricing, and commercial matters, gathered from customer interactions and your own observations.

Candidate Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in sales, marketing or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales in the sanitary and tile industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of sanitary and tile products, features, and benefits.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to meet personal sales targets and work independently.
  • Positive attitude and ability to foster a cooperative and professional team environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized showroom.
