Oman received the first batch of vaccine from Pfizer towards end December last year
Muscat: A consignment of 100,000 doses of Oxford Astrazeneca vaccine manufactured by Serum Institute of India reached Oman by Air India on January 30. The vaccine doses that arrived as gift from India were handed over to Oman’s Minister of Health, through the Embassy of India in Oman. Ambassador Munu Manawar hailed this development as another important milestone in Oman-India relationship in his tweet, which he shared immediately after the hand-over of vaccine to Oman’s Health Minister Dr. Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al Saeedi.
