India issues new guidelines for DOMESTIC arrivals

Guidelines for domestic travel (air/train/Inter-state bus travel) 1) Dos and Don'ts shall be provided along with tickets to the travellers by the agencies concerned. 2) All passengers shall be advised to download Arogya Setu app on their mobile devices. 3) Suitable announcement about COVID-19 including precautionary measures to be followed shall be made at airports/railway station/bus terminals and in flights/trains/bus. 4) The States/las shall ensure that all passengers shall undergo thermal screening at the point of departure and only asymptomatic passengers are allowed to board the flight/train/bus. 5) During boarding and travel, all passengers shall use face covers/mask. Guidelines for international passengers (arrivals in India) Before boarding, all travellers to give undertaking that they will undergo mandatory quarantine for 14 days – 7 days paid institutional quarantine at own cost, followed by 7 days isolation at home with self-monitoring of health. Only for exceptional and compelling reasons such as cases of human distress, pregnancy, death in family serious illness and parent(s) accompanied by children below 10 years, as assessed by the receiving states, home quarantine may be permitted for 14 days. Use of Aarogya Sethu app shall be mandatory in such cases. Dos and Don'ts shall be provided along with ticket to the travelers by the agencies concerned. Advisory regarding ongoing repatriation of Indian nationals to India Indian Nationals in Kuwait are advised to kindly note the following: Online Registration process for Indian nationals in Kuwait seeking repatriation to India is being suspended temporarily from today and will resume after initial registrations have been accommodated. However, requests of medical emergency, pregnancy and those related to death may continue to be sent by email to the Embassy ONLY at cw.kuwait@mea.gov.in for necessary examination/processing. Embassy of India in Kuwait is the only designated Authority to select and prioritize travel requests. Embassy is not responsible for unauthorized assurances accepted by intending travellers.
