Kuwait City, 29th October 2020: Indian Court asked government to ‘find some solution’ to bring back Indians, iiQ8 The India Supreme Court on Tuesday urged the Indian government to “find some solution” to bring home Indians, mostly blue-collar workers from Tamil Nadu, stranded in Kuwait during the pandemic. “You have to do something… You have to find some solution”, Justice M.R. Shah, a member of the three-judge Bench led by Justice Ashok Bhushan, addressed Additional Solicitor General K.M. Nataraj, representing the Centre. But the Centre said it was making every attempt to bring them home and the “availability of flights is no more a reason for being stranded in Kuwait”. Referring to a short affidavit filed in court, Mr. Nataraj said the government was “fully sensitive to the difficulties faced by the Indian citizens”. Kuwait City, 15th October, 2020: Kuwait will not allow entry of any passengers without health requirements The head of the Government Communication Center, the official spokesperson for the government, Tariq Al-Muzrim, confirmed that all passengers coming to Kuwait are subjected to the required health requirements, the government will not tolerate the implementation of ministerial decisions and will not allow the entry of any passenger without implementation of health requirements and without any exception.
