The next Embassy Open House will be held on Wednesday, 27 July 2022 at Embassy of India, Diplomatic Enclave, Safat, Arabian Gulf Street, Kuwait-13015 from 1100-1200 hrs (registrations will be open at the Embassy from 1000 hrs to 1130 hrs). 2. Kuwait City, 22nd July 2022: PCC verification for new visa to be done online for Kuwait Starting from September, 2022 the verification of PCC of new expats entering Kuwait on new work or family visas will be approved online. Quoting sources, Al-Anba Arabic daily reported that this will begin with India and later it will be implemented with all countries. According to the new feature, from September onwards, for those coming from India on new work or family visas will have to submit their Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) at Kuwait Embassy in their home country, the Kuwait embassy will verify for its authenticity and only after cross checking it will be sent over to Kuwait Ministry of Interior online to verify the valid sponsor or to check if the visa is for former resident of Kuwait. The newcomers will arrive in Kuwait under a deal struck by the Kuwaiti private health sector two years ago, but was stymied over the COVID-19 outbreak, Al Rai said, citing Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Sibi George. The deal included employment of a total of around 2,700 male and female nurses from India. Some 700 of those nurses have already arrived in Kuwait in the past six months and the rest will arrive in two months at best, the envoy told Al Rai. Kuwait City, 15th July 2022: Saudi Arabia to open airspace for all air carriers #Saudi Arabia to open airspace for all air carriers Carriers must meet requirements of 'the authority of overflying': aviation authority Saudi Arabia said it would open its airspace to all air carriers, paving the way for more overflights to and from Israel. The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) said the country's airspace was now open to all carriers that meet its requirements for overflights, in line with international conventions that say there should be no discrimination between civil aircraft. The decision will "complement the efforts aimed at consolidating the kingdom's position as a global hub connecting three continents and to enhance international air connectivity," GACA added in a statement.
