Who Is Aditi Shankar?

Aditi Shankar is an Indian actress and singer who made her acting debut in Tamil cinema with Viruman in 2022. She gained recognition for playing Thenmozhi in the film, opposite Karthi.

She followed her debut with Maaveeran (2023), a fantasy action film starring Sivakarthikeyan. Her performances helped her establish herself as a young actress in Tamil cinema.

Unlike many aspiring actors who enter the entertainment industry immediately after school or college, Aditi first completed medical studies. She later chose to pursue acting, a career path that brought her into the same industry as her father, celebrated director S. Shankar.

In addition to acting, Aditi has explored playback singing. Her musical contributions include songs associated with films such as Viruman and Maaveeran, demonstrating her interest in more than one aspect of filmmaking.

Aditi Shankar Age and Date of Birth

Aditi Shankar was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. However, publicly available entertainment biographies list different birth dates: some report 19 June 1993, while others give 6 July 1997.

Because of this discrepancy, her exact age in 2026 should not be stated as a confirmed fact without a more authoritative source. Readers and publishers should check a verified interview or official biography before using a specific date of birth.

Despite the uncertainty in online listings, her professional journey is well documented through her acting debut in 2022 and subsequent Tamil and Telugu film projects.
