Once upon a time there lived a saint and his wife on the bank of a river. His wife has no children. One day while the saint was praying in the middle of the river, an eagle flew across the river in the sky, then the eagle dropped a female rat in the saint’s hand.
The saint opened his eyes and saw the rat in his hands and took it home for his wife. After arriving home, he told his wife about the rat.
They decided to turn the rat into a little girl. The saint and his wife marched on the girl and began to take good care of her, raising her as their own daughter.
The girl grew up to be a beautiful virgin at the age of sixteen. At that age, the saint decided to find a good relationship to marry for the girl.
He and his wife decided that ‘Sun God’ was the ideal match for their girl. So, the saint prayed that the sun god would appear, and once the sun god appeared he asked him to marry his daughter.
But, the saint’s daughter said, “Sorry, I can not marry the sun god, because he is very hot. And I will be burnt to ashes by his heat.” Said his father.

Upon hearing her words, the mountain god instructed the ‘rat’ to find a ‘gentle man’ with the saint. Because, the rat is soft and can still make holes in the mountain.
This time the daughter was very happy and she agreed to marry the rat.
The saint said, “Look what fate gives you. You started as a rat, and finally decided to marry a rat. So stay that way.” He turned her back into a female rat. Then the female rat married the male rat.
