PASSPORT EXTENSION AND RELEASING-ONLY OPERATIONS ON 23-30 AUGUST 2020 The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait announces to the public that it is suspending all its non-passport services such as authentication and civil registration (Report of Birth, Report of Marriage) from 23 to 30 August 2020, to give way to passport extension and releasing-only operations for Filipinos whose residence visas or iqama will expire on 31 August 2020. The Embassy will extend the passport validity of applicants with confirmed appointments, on the condition that they must return to the Embassy for their passport renewal at a later date. This is in accordance with the policy of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on passport extension, which prevents extending the validity of old passports without applying for passport renewal.
