The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health declared on Saturday recording 942 new coronavirus infection cases in past 24 hours, raising toll of contamination cases to 13,802 since outbreak of the contagion in the Gulf state. New cases includes 251 Indian residents, 208 Kuwaiti Citizens, 156 Egyptian, 124 Bangladeshi national and rest others. Farwaniya residential area reported highest case with 112, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh 79, Mahboula 53 and Fahaheel reported 46 cases. Kuwait 16th May, 2020: Kuwait directorate of Civil Aviation Safety Regulations : The General Directorate of Civil Aviation issued a circular regarding operational procedures to deal with evacuation flights of Expats from the country through Kuwait International Airport, through passenger terminals. The circular stated that the expatriates leaving from Kuwait will be examined at the airport by the Ministry of Health and given a certificate that they are free of Corona virus if the result is negative as they will be treated according to procedures by the Ministry of Health. Kuwait 16th May, 2020: Director-General of Kuwait Municipality Ahmad Al-Manfouhi announced an advisory to change the working hours of grocery stores during the total lockdown, that was enacted countrywide six days ago. COVID-19 Kuwait Bakkala open timing changed, grocery stores time changed during total lockdown "The grocery stores in investment areas are permitted to deliver foodstuffs and other commodities to nearby residents from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM., " he said on Saturday, noting that the nightshift has been cancelled. "All these stores and their staffers are required to abide by the regulations, previously stipulated in advisories no. 810and 811 (2020), otherwise they could face shutdown," Al-Manfouhi cautioned. Monday, May 11, 2020 Kuwait Government allows home delivery of groceries Kuwait Municipality announced on Monday that grocery stores are permitted to deliver foodstuffs and other commodities to nearby residents during the full curfew enacted yesterday afternoon. The permission is based on a decision by the cabinet in this regard, the municipality said in a statement on Monday.
