Kuwait City, 24th December 2020: First shipment of Pfizer vaccine arrives in Kuwait, iiQ8, Started Vaccination Priority will be given to frontline workers and those above the age of 65 ..The first shipment of the Pfizer-BioNTech arrived in Kuwait early Wednesday morning from Belgium via Emirates Airlines. Kuwait’s Minister of Health, Dr. Basil Al Sabah, announced that the vaccination process will begin on Thursday. He pointed out the first batch, which includes 150,000 doses that will be used to vaccinate 75,000 people, will be allocated for frontline workers and those above the age of 65. The Mishref fairground has been prepared and organised to serve as the vaccination headquarters.
