KIA aims to resolve entry issues before arrival of expats
As Kuwait International Airport (KIA) gears up to allow the entry of vaccinated residence-holders from August 1, the authorities are attempting to resolve some of the issues pertaining to the entry mechanism for foreigners.
On June 17, the Council of Ministers approved several decisions regarding travel abroad for citizens and entry of non-Kuwaitis into the country as of Sunday, 1 August.

Some of the conditions attached to the entry of expats include that they receive two doses of the anti-Coronavirus vaccines approved in Kuwait, namely Pfizer-BioNTech, Oxford-AstraZeneca, and Moderna, or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
