Kuwait Suspended Holding of Social Events from 9th January to 28th February 2022

Holding of social events temporarily suspended from Jan 9 to Feb 28

The Kuwaiti Government decided on Monday 03.01.2022 to bar holding all kinds of peoples’ gatherings in closed places effective next Sunday 9th January until 28th February.

The decision will be re-examined in light of the epidemiological conditions in the country, the official Twitter account of the Government Communication Center said.

Moreover, the Cabinet decided to oblige all incoming travelers to undergo a PCR test 72 hours ahead of arrival in the country of Kuwait— as of Tuesday 4th January 2022.

KUWAIT STARTING FROM JAN. 4, ALL INCOMING TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A PCR CERTIFICATE

Starting from 2022, January 4, all incoming travelers are required to provide a PCR certificate with a negative result, taken at a maximum of 72 hours before their flight’s departure time.
