Kuwait Started Traffic Week, Pay Fines and Release Seized Vehicles

At the Avenues Mall on Monday, the 36th Unified Gulf Traffic Week exhibition with the theme (Your Life is a Trust) opened. The exhibition will continue until Friday.

Among the activities included awareness-raising activities, a display of traffic cameras, the central control room, and traffic control cameras, as well as a demonstration of how they work. An awareness corner was allocated for children to inculcate traffic values and the importance of adhering to laws in order to raise the level of traffic culture.

The exhibition also includes provision for paying fines, releasing impounded vehicles, opening closed fines, and learning about the mechanisms of the General Traffic Department.

Major General Al-Khadda, Director General of the General Traffic Department, explained during the opening of the exhibition that the department provides vehicle drivers with protection through the use of the latest technologies. In order to avoid accidents, people should adhere to traffic etiquette and laws, speed limits, seat belts, and not use their cell phones while driving.
