MOH Spokesman Speaks At News Conference, iiQ8

👩‍🔬The rise in cases & the number of patients at hospitals requires care & mutual cooperation from all segments in the society to keep achievements made in controlling the spread of the virus.

🧑‍🔬 Increased cases caused by travel, social gatherings & wedding parties.

🧑‍🔬 Urged abiding by precautionary measures to maintain achievements for keeping stability & avoiding shutdown.

🧑‍🔬 Urged Citizens & residents to avert travel now.

🧑‍🔬 Suspension of direct flights from more than 30 countries & reduction of flights & passengers heading to the country.

🧑‍🔬 Passengers must have a negative PCR analysis valid up to 72 hrs before travel starting from the date of conducting the swab.

🧑‍🔬 Passengers will undergo a PCR swab when arriving at Kuwait airport & another one 5 days later.

🧑‍🔬 There is a specialized team to monitor any new coronavirus strain.

🧑‍🔬 – Vaccination depends on the batches of vaccines the country obtains.

🧑‍🔬 People would receive 2 doses of Oxford vaccines within 4 weeks at some specialized centers in Kuwait International Fair, & southern & northern country.

🧑‍🔬 Medical staff, workers at the MOI & the front lines, the elderly, people with special needs & patients with chronic diseases, Citizens aged 40-64 will be added to receive vaccines.

🧑‍🔬 MOH launched an e-link to facilitate vaccination to patients who are not able to go to receive vaccines in the 3 centers.

🧑‍🔬 They can send an SMS on the telephone number placed on the application to have an appointment.
