‘IMMUNE’ app launched to obtain COVID-19 vaccine certificate

The Information Systems Department of the Ministry of Health has launched the “IMMUNE” app for viewing and downloading COVID-19 vaccination certificates, reports Aljarida daily. On its Twitter account, the ministry affirmed that it is possible through this app to download vaccination certificates and view the vaccination status of vaccine recipients using the following links –

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health completed the vaccination of the local media body against ‘Corona’, reports Al-Jarida daily. The daily said a comprehensive campaign was organized to vaccinate workers in all government and private media institutions. The workers in this sector received vaccinations at the Mishref Fairgrounds which witnessed a remarkable demand for vaccination.

The health sources told the daily that the vaccinations of the media people comprised those who had not been vaccinated. The sources added, the ministry is continuing efforts to expand vaccinating segments and groups with various jobs, and that the next few days will witness the vaccination of factory workers, food companies and restaurants.

  IMMUNE APP PRIVACY POLICY

Introduction

Immune app is an electronic application developed by the Ministry of Health in Kuwait – Information system department and the app aims to provide the certificate of vaccination for COVID-19 issued by the Ministry of Health in Kuwait. Immune app is a Free app. This service is provided by the Ministry of Health at no cost and is intended for use as is.
Based on the importance of information and its confidentiality, and in the interest of the application administration, the “application” reassures that Ensuring the best levels of service, the application management is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of user information and the materials entered by them as a basis for the privacy policy, and the application management will not disclose that information except in accordance with the specific controls stipulated in the (Disclosure) clause, with limited access to information Only authorized persons.
The application administration collects information provided by the user, which includes, but is not limited to, civil id, phone number, or any other data that the user may provide or that can be used to determine his identity.
This app is not directly dealing with Covid19 related efforts of diseases management like
laboratory related events , healthcare plans etc. On the contrary it is only for providing an electronic certificate of vaccination of Covid19 which will used by The Ministry of Health and other governmental authorization in managing the vaccinated persons for the purpose of travel , or visit other public locations
like shopping malls , religious places , schools ,etc.

Usage and Disclosure

– Entities to be disclosed: The application section will share the relevant authorities of Ministry of Health with the user’s information to use in connection with obtaining a certificate for the Covid 19 vaccine, and in the event that the application administration seeks to obtain third-party support, it will seek the assistance of reliable and reference institutions, request and confirm compliance with the confidentiality standards approved by the application administration.
– Purposes of Use and Disclosure: The application administration uses user data, information and / or disclosure with its participation for the purpose of obtaining a certificate for the Covid 19 vaccine after receiving the vaccine according to the mechanism set by the Ministry of Health
