Penalties for eating in public during Ramadan
Citizens and expats are warned to preserve the values and customs of the country during the Holy month of Ramadan, and respect the feelings of those who are fasting by abstaining from eating or drinking in public according to the law.
The punishment for breaking the rules in public is imprisonment for a month and a fine of KD100 dinars or one of these two penalties.
The operating rooms receive around the clock reports on the emergency phone (112).
