COVID-19 Drug Developed by DRDO India, iiQ8, 2-Diaxi D-Glucose (2 DG)
Covid-19 medicine developed by DRDO to fight corona 2-Diaxi D-Glucose (2 DG) will be available today. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to distribute a total of 10 thousand doses in several hospitals in the country’s capital Delhi on Monday. This medicine which is going to come in the form of powder has to be taken together with water.
DRDO explained that by doing this.. the virus enters the contained cells and blocks its growth. It is known that only vaccines are being given to Corona till now. So.. Indian defence research development company made this powder.
This can be used for emergency use for corona patients. Indian Drug Control Company has given permission. Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS) of DRDO in cooperation with Dr. Reddys Laboratories has developed this drug. Clinical trials have revealed that it is working efficiently in people with severe Covid symptoms from a moderate.
