As per project expansion, we need to recruit an ”Control Room Technician” for Al Zour Refinery in Kuwait.

Al-Zour Refinery: This is the world’s largest grass-root refinery with 615,000 bpd capacity. The refinery will have high flexibility as it is designed to process various types of Kuwait crude including the Kuwait Heavy Crude (KHC) oil, which will be produced according to KPC upstream strategy. It will provide mainly clean fuel oil to the power plants; and an expansion plan to full conversion is considered as a suitable option.

MISSION:

Under the responsibility of the Contract Site Representative, Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Operates, on assigned shift all equipment of assigned unit/s by monitoring workstations, video terminals, panels and
instruments in control room.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

·  You graduated in Degree/Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Diploma from Accredited Technological Institute or Equivalent and have at least 10 years of experience in operating and Commissioning of Refinery / Petrochemicals.
· You have at least 3 years of experince in a similar position involving pre-commissioning and commissioning project(s).
· Proven experience in handling activities related to refinery Operations.
· Specific Process Units experience relevant to Sulphur Pelletizing/ Sulphur loading Pier/ Waste Water Treatment Unit/ ZLD/ Refinery Tank farm / Oil Pier is required.
· Assume full responsibility for the role as envisaged by Health, Safety and Environment Management System.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills in English

CONDITIONS

Job on a rotational status: 11 months on / 1 month off (paid)
8 hours per day 48 hours per week

Monthly salary + Food & Accommodation Allowance + Transportation from/to site provided
Mobilization date: ASAP
