Sr. Purchasing Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

We are recruiting Sr. Purchasing Engineers for KIRBY for both UAE and Kuwait.
The senior purchase engineer is responsible for the vendor selection and development of local and international suppliers; negotiation and execution of supply contracts.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Ensure all procurement activities are carried out in accordance with the established company procedures.
  • Conduct technical review of requirements from Engineering/Operations.
  • Prepare RFQ (request for quotation) document and send it to Suppliers/Vendors. Evaluate the quotations received from Suppliers/Vendors to determine the best Supplier/Vendor meeting price, delivery, and quality requirements.
  • Conduct negotiation with Suppliers/Vendors for assigned products and services
  • Conduct Supplier/Vendor evaluation after a PO is complete.
  • Develop new sources to meet company’s evolving business needs
  • Prepare reports for the management as and when required

 

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPEREIENCE:

  • Minimum of Five or more years of experience working in a purchasing function out of which at least 2 years should be in PEB industry
  • Bachelors in Engineering is a must with Major in either Civil/Structural/Mechanical or Industrial

Job Summary

The primary role of the Accountant is to support the functional activities in accounting and reporting.
This will include receivables & payable accounting, general ledger, fixed assets, inventory, cash and banking accounting.

Job Responsibilities

•    To ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in the company financial ledgers.
•    To efficiently and accurately reconcile financial transactions and balances in the company records to supporting documentation.
•    To handle any of the above responsibilities reporting to the Accounts Manager
•    To be an effective team player and contribute to the timely delivery of accurate accounting information.
•    To maintain compliance with company policies in the area assigned, proactively seeking to solve issues faced.

Candidate Requirements

•    Must have graduated in Accounting/Commerce and display good relevant accounting knowledge
•    A minimum of 3 years of work experience in general accounting role
•    Knowledge of MS Office solutions (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
•    Knowledge of SAP /Hyperion (Optional)
•    Good communication skills in English, (Arabic an advantage)– Verbal & Written
•    Must be reliable and dedicated and flexibility to work additional hours as business requirements dictate.
•    Willingness to accept additional assignments.

•    Complete responsibility of First Aid Centre.
•    Provide emergency treatment in the workplace.
•    Providing health and hygiene awareness trainings to the employees.
•    Focus on primary prevention and apply emergency care.
•    Plan and provide medical and nursing care to patients in company.
•    Coordinating and arranging outside clinic Doctor Consultation.
•    Assist and coordinate with visiting doctor for daily consultation.
•    Stock checking & Medicine ordering based on approval.
•    Record keeping & maintenance for medicines given to the patient.
•    Updating Patient’s clinic visit Register on daily basis.
•     Monthly report circulating to the management.
•    Accident report circulating to management based on each occurrence.
•     Patient’s Hospital bill submitting to HR Dept for reimbursement.
•    Providing First aid medicine kit to department and monitoring medicine expiry date.
•    Document all employee injury and illness and keeping the information confidential.
•    Improve the health of employees through on-going programs and health checks.
•    Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.
•    Administering medications to patients and monitoring the side effects and reactions.
•    Train patients on managing illnesses or injuries and disease prevention.
•    Arranging First Aid training whenever required.
•    Timely reporting the sick leave and medical cases to HR department.
