Demand Planning Analyst

Role Name: Analyst – Demand Planning

 

Job Summary:

 

The Analyst – Demand Planning is part of Demand Planning team whose responsibilities are to ensure right stock is available.

The Analyst – Demand Planning plays a central role and coordinates between Supplier, Sales Divisions, Warehouse, Freight Forwarding, Accounts & Finance teams.

This role reports into the Demand Planning Manager in GTRC.

The key processes that the Analyst – Demand Planning would need to drive are forecast validation, purchase order creation & processing, local promotion order processing, supplier debit note preparation, municipality health clearance process, KPI reporting etc.

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and track KPIs in supply chain and inventory
  • Provide inventory-related analytical support to sales team and suppliers
  • Ensure sales forecast prepared by Sales Divisions is reasonable & accurate based on past trends
  • Coordinate with Suppliers to ensure that Purchase Orders are prepared accurately, entered in SAP on-time, based on agreed supply chain criteria, forecast & stock levels
  • Ensure that items ordered are delivered on-time by coordinating with Suppliers, Freight forwarding team, Warehouse team
  • Take lead on Demand Planning Process
  • Control and manage agreed stock levels of products
  • Manage low stock situations
  • Validate receipts, quantities and their value
  • Track shipments until stock becomes sellable
  • Make sure that Article Master data is accurate & complete
  • Create & process local promotion order in SAP accurately & on-time
  • Coordinate with Freight forwarding company & Baladiya in case of health clearance of items
  • KPI Monitoring & Analysis for key supply chain indicators
  • Prepare supplier debit notes & recovery of spend from suppliers on time & accurately with all relevant information
  • Prepare reports of analysis and backups to raise claims on suppliers for marketing spends
  • Follow up with suppliers for settlement of claims
  • Work closely with Accounts team to ensure month end closing activities are completed accurately & on-time

Candidate Requirements:

 

  • 3-5 years’ work experience in a corporate environment
  • Communication skills: good command of spoken and written English.
  • Ability to read and speak Arabic is preferable.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Results-oriented individual with attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills – ability to work across teams (internal and external)
  • High level of proficiency in Excel – Pivot tables, Vlookup, formulae, excels template creation, formula evaluation, debugging excel formulas etc.
  • Prior experience in SAP / ERP tools and Reporting tools like Business Objects / Business Intelligence etc.
  • Past experience in purchasing / accounting / demand planning/ supply chain
  • Accuracy in working with data & calculations
  • Proactive & Good follow up skills
  • Takes responsibility for completion within deadlines & ready to work hard
  • Good team working & interaction skills
  • Fast learner and good at Multi-tasking
  • Ability to handle tough internal customers
  • Ability to handle pressure

Education:

Job Summary

Ensures effective collection follow-up on Normal portfolio and timely collection of  receivables.

Job Responsibilities

1.         Make daily telephone calls to overdue customers
2.         Request Team Leader to SMS as may be required time to time
3.         Highlight issues to Team Leader to resolve issues
4.         Make field visit to deliver warning letter to customer home or work place
5.         Send Faxes to customer work place
6.         Make follow-up notes on customer payment
7.         Response to customer query
8.         Get new customer contact data through various search and give it to Team Leader for update in system
9.         Maintain confidentiality of customer database
10.     Daily communication with our customers in all categories.
11.     Identify skipper cases and share the details to Team Leader
12.     Make a daily update to see which customers have been paid
13.     Broadcast the positive spirit among team members
