Kuwait City, Tuesday, September 7, 2021: Direct flights Started from India to Kuwait, iiQ8 News Direct commercial flights from India will start operating from tomorrow, Tuesday, 7th of September 2021. First direct flight operated by Jazeera airways from Kochi will arrive Tuesday morning at 6 am, followed by another Kuwait Airways flight from Mumbai and second Kuwait Airways flight from Chennai. Indigo will operate one flight from Ahmedabad. Air India Express from Kochi will land at 1:30 pm and Jazeera will also operate one flight from Delhi tomorrow. Earlier, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation set a quote of weekly 5,528 seats from India to Kuwait on direct flights. Kuwait Abolish max Limit for Arrivals – Airlines may shut shop KUWAIT CITY, Aug 22: Although the Cabinet has given the green signal to operate direct flights to six countries — Egypt, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal — informed sources said the authorities of Kuwait International Airport (Directorate-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) – had not received (until Thursday noon) the explanations for the Cabinet’s decision, and therefore it is not possible to set a specific date for opening travel destinations which can only be done after receiving all the clarifications. The sources stated that the airport authorities are ready to deal with any increase in the number of inbound passengers and open the airspace to all countries, considering that in the event that there is no increase in the number of arrivals, this will disrupt the implementation of the new decision, after plans were put in place and finally to increase the passenger capacity (daily arrivals)…

Kuwait City, 23rd August, 2021: Direct Flights to 6 Countries from Kuwait, iiQ8 News The Directorate General of Civil Aviation is expected to finalize the operational mechanism for direct flights from six countries including India in its meeting Sunday morning. According to sources, the DGCA will hold a meeting on Sunday morning to finalized the operational capacity at Kuwait International Airport and issue the official circular in this regard. Earlier last week, the Council of Ministers approved direct flights with six countries, Egypt, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal. However, the airlines are not yet started accepting the bookings and is waiting for the DGCA directive in this regard.
