Kuwait City, 11th January 2022: Kuwait cuts isolation period for vaccinated to 7 days #Kuwait on Tuesday updated the quarantine & isolation conditions for vaccinated and unvaccinated people in the country, the MOH Spokesman Dr Abdullah Al-Sanad explained the conditions as follows: ◾ A person is considered in contact if they come in contact with a positive case for at least 15 minutes without covering the mouth and nose, and for a space of two meters or less. ◾ A person in contact must quarantine for 14 days that can be shortened to seven with a negative PCR test if they are vaccinated. Unvaccinated people must quarantine for the full 14-day period. ◾ In case of infection, a vaccinated person must isolate for seven days starting from the day of the PCR test, while an unvaccinated person must isolate for 10 days. Kuwait City, 11th January 2022: Ministry of Health, Kuwait updates COVID-19 quarantine protocols, iiQ8 info Kuwait's Ministry of Health (MoH) updated its COVID-19 guidelines within the framework of global update of the protocol for the period of isolation, due to take effect on Tuesday (11th January 2022). MoH spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said in a press release that the quarantine period for the people who came into contact with a person who tested positive would be 14 days, with the possibility for vaccinated people to end the quarantine if their PCR test showed negative in the 7th day of quarantine. He added that the non-vaccinated people who were in contact with an infected person must quarantine for 14 days from the date of contact. He indicated that the period for an infected person was reduced to seven days for the vaccinated and 10 days for the non-vaccinated from the date of the first PCR, stressing the need to continue to…

In what could bring about a solution to a months-long crisis involving expatriates above 60 in Kuwait, the newly appointed Justice Minister Jamal Al Jalwai will hold talks this week with the agencies concerned to devise the “best mechanism” to address the problem, a local newspaper has reported. The request for renewal is available for everyone through MOI website, but whoever violates the conditions will not be able to print the license from automated devices which are placed at various commercial complexes in Kuwait.
