Indian ex-president Mr. Pranab Mukherjee Passes way, iiQ8 Former president Pranab Mukherjee had been admitted to hospital on August 10 after a fall at home Pranab Mukherjee, India’s former president and one of the country’s most admired political leaders, died on Monday. He was 84. Mukherjee had suffered a fall at his Rajaji Marg house and had been operated to remove a blood clot in his brain on August 10. Doctors on Monday morning warned that there was a decline in his condition and he was in septic shock due to infection in his lung. Members of the Indian Community in Kuwait would be aware of the announcement of Directorate General of Civil Aviation, State of Kuwait, to not allow non-Kuwaiti passengers from 31 countries, including India, whether flying directly or via transit from other countries (unless they stay in third countries for 14 days and produce a negative COVID-19 certificate with the test conducted no more than 72 hours prior to arrival in Kuwait).

Indian Departures to increase upto 2500 per day, iiQ8 Kuwait City, iiQ8 News, 14th August, 2020: India began to evacuate 1,000 citizen per day from Kuwait as per “Air Bubble” agreement with Kuwait . The evacuation flights began from yesterday for those who wish to return back to India. The agreement between two countries are that flights are intended for departure only and not for arrivals in compliance with the circular issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation in advance to prevent the entry of foreigners into Kuwait from 31 countries, including India. The coordination is underway to increase the departing passengers to 2,500 per day from 18th to 31st of Aug which will be implemented soon. The number of departing passengers varies from day to day, but it depends on advance reservations by passengers. Expats to return back to Kuwait in 3 Stages, iiQ8 KUWAIT CITY, Aug 6: As per the state needs, priority will be given to those expats who will be allowed to return back on 3 stages within the framework to organize arrival of those with valid residency so that the airport does not crowd with huge numbers of expats who wish to return from various countries. The sources said that the first phase will include doctors, nurses, judges, members of the public prosecution office and teachers, the collection of data from various ministries is underway in order to prepare to receive them.
