About Boubyan Bank
Boubyan Bank says it is the first Islamic bank established in Kuwait under the Law of Islamic Banks, Law No. 33 of 2003. It was set up as a Kuwaiti public shareholding company on 21 September 2004 by Amiri Decree No. 88, and its shares have been listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange since 15 May 2006.
According to Wikipedia, the Boubyan Group includes Boubyan Takaful, Boubyan Capital and Boubyan National, and the bank has been recognised by Global Finance magazine for its digital banking. The Central Bank of Kuwait lists Boubyan among the four Kuwaiti Islamic banks.
