Warning

Dr. Edsel Salvana, member of the technical advisory group of the Department of Health (DOH), warned on Friday that people who are unvaccinated face a higher risk of severe COVID.

“We know that we have among us people who are still unvaccinated, or if they already are, they belong to the vulnerable population. It’s wrong to call this variant ‘mild’ because it can still lead to severe cases,” said Dr. Salvana, echoing the WHO warning.
