Job specificationΒ :
English Speaking experienced Corrosion Lab Technician to perform Corrosion Lab related activities, having at least:
i) Secondary School Education, Diploma in Chemical / Electrical Engineering is preferred.
ii) Proficient in handling Corrosion Lab Equipment, Calibration, Charging and registration.
iii) Collecting of various samples for failure analysis as advised by Quality Control Engineer/Corrosion in coordination with Machine Shop and Welding Shop.
iv) NACE Certification or equivalent is preferred.
v) Assisting Coating Inspectors / Corrosion Inspectors as advised by Quality Control Engineer/Corrosion.
vi) Five years experience as Corrosion Lab Technician is essential/ Metallographic sample preparation.

Job Summary
The Sr. Store Keeper / Store Keeper is fully responsible and accountable for receiving, storing, securing and the issuance of products, in addition to the delivery of products invoiced to the front delivery counter. The job role focuses on leading all relevant processes in alignment with Alghanim policies and procedures. He is also accountable for sound housekeeping of the storage area, conducting inventories, reporting dented items and discrepancies to store manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Handles accurate receipt of goods at the showroom
- Reports discrepancies, dented and damaged products to Store Manager
- Responsible to storing, labelling and recording damaged and dented items
- Collaborate with Section Heads to have received items displayed at the showroom, and highlights any items not displayed to the store management
- Ensures accurate stock counts and inventory results
- Ensures quick access to stored products and sound delivery process
- Ensures safe product movement to reduce shrinkage
- Accountable for adequate and accurate data updates
- Accountable for running auto replenishment reports
- Ensures issuance of Post Goods Issue (PGI) for items sold from back-storage
- Responsible for all stock transfers to other showrooms and returns to suppliers
- Arranges sending dented items to dented house-ware according to pre-set schedule
- Ensures all back-storeβs activities in alignment with organizational policies & procedures
- Maintains back-storeβs cost control measures in alignment with business objectives
- Ensures sound housekeeping at the back-store
- Ensures back-storeβs employee awareness of safety and emergency procedures.

πΈ Access network elements including Provider Routers, Edge Routers, Edge Switches, and DWDM nodes to review running configurations and validate provisioned services against active service orders in RAS.
πΈ Create the required Change Requests (CRs) to implement necessary changes per service or account.
πΈ Establish direct communication with the respective B2B Services teams to cross-check and reconcile provisioned services.
πΈ Report all mismatches to the respective stakeholders and follow up based on agreed corrective actions.
πΈ Reconcile all network records with Cacti and ensure incorrect or cancelled records are cleaned from all relevant systems.
πΈ Generate monthly reconciliation reports covering findings, progress, and outstanding issues for management.
πΈ Escalate any delays or challenges affecting the activity and report findings that may impact the project’s objectives.

5+ years of experience in Routing & Switching within a Telecommunications / Service Provider environment.

CCNP certification or equivalent/higher.

Strong hands-on knowledge of IP Routing, Switching, Service Provider Networks, and network provisioning.

Experience with telecom network elements, preferably routers, switches, and DWDM equipment.
β
Excellent Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills.

Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and reporting skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of network and service data.
