Job Summary

The SAP BI/BO Techno- Functional Consultant is responsible for the analysis, design, review and trouble shoot of the Business Intelligence/ Business Object needs of Alghanim group of companies.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct SAP BI/BO Requirements gathering, Blueprinting, Design and Solution with business and technical team.
• Responsible for BI/BO landscape of Retail.
• Manages & support the data load into SAP BI/BO from various source systems using BODS.
• Support and resolve production issues and train the users.
• Build reports based on business requirement and recommend best practices
• Conduct configuration changes to accommodate change requests and prototype activities.
• Extract, Transform and Load relevant data from SAP ERP system.
• Lead and coordinate the work of a small team, liaise with external implementation partners.
• Resolve BODS related tickets and do necessary configuration/customization in BODS.
• Demonstrate proof of concept  & assist  in training activities
• Perform initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality.
• Work with IT Service Desk to facilitate incident & problem resolution.
• Keep abreast of SAP releases, enhancements/new functionality and perform application research.
• Experience with performance tuning of queries using compression, aggregation and partitioning etc. and performance tuning of system to improve data load and system response time.

Candidate Requirements

• 5 years of SAP BI/BO consultancy experience with minimum 2 End-to-End Implementations and at least 1 Support/Roll out Project.
• Extensive knowledge in SQL/PLSQL
• Extensive Knowledge in Data Mart &  Materialistic  view
• Extensive knowledge of standard, Web reporting, Extraction, Transfer Structures, Transformation, RDA and Operational Data Store (ODS).
• Extensive knowledge in SAP BODS
• Extensive Knowledge in BO & BODS Admin
• Extensive knowledge in BO server authentication and access.
• Expertise in effective universe design.
• Extensive experience in creating Webi , Dashboards, BEx Queries, Workbooks WAD, publishing reports to portal.
• Familiar with SAP tables, fields and retail process.
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
• Excellent negotiation, influence, mediation and conflict management skills
• Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
