Kuwait Cricket Club Junior & Schools Championship powered by MECstudygroup Grand Finales are scheduled to take place on 22nd and 29th of May at Sulaibiya Cricket Ground with grand presentation of all the categories and finalists of U12, U14, U16 & U19 on 29th of May at 7pm
Kuwait Cricket Club (KCC) in association with MECstudygroup invites the entire cricket fraternity, parents, families and friends to come forward and support their children as they embark on a journey to express themselves on the big stage in the most prestigious tournament for kids organized by KCC – MECstudygroup as a pathway to Kuwait National Teams of U-16 & U-19.
Parents and families who are unable to come to the grounds due to unavoidable circumstances can watch their lovely kids in action from home on facebook and youtube channels as all the finals will be streamed live on @kuwaitcricketofficial
Earlier in January 2021, Kuwait Cricket – the sole official governing body for the game of cricket in Kuwait under the auspices of Public Authority of Sport and Kuwait Olympic Committee partnered with MECstudygroup (Kuwait) as it’s principal sponsor for the category of Juniors Cricket (Domestic & International). MECstudygroup has the exclusive naming rights for Kuwait Cricket U-19 & U-16 national teams participating in ICC & ACC tournaments (2021) as well as the local junior tournaments of U-12, U-14, U-16 & U-19 respectively.
MECstudygroup Kuwait will provide Kuwait Cricket registered players with scholarships and free consultancy on studying abroad. MECstudygroup is an educational consultancy based in Kuwait and is one of the top three educational consultancies in Kuwait. MECstudygroup deals with Universities in United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada, Australia, United Arab Emirates and Australia and Europe. MECstudygroup will provide scholarships to all the KC registered students and help study abroad for as low as 2400 KD per year. MECstudygroup provides students with University Acceptance, University Application Assistance, Ministry offer approval for Kuwaitis, Ministry’s scholarship program for Kuwaitis, Accommodation assistance and Visa assistance.
“MECstudygroup is going to provide the age group cricketers of Under 16 and Under 19 with up to 50% sports scholarship on Universities and will focus on promoting the grass root level of cricket in Kuwait….furthermore MECstudygroup will provide KC registered students who are planning to study in United Kingdom to apply for university with 5-6 IGCSE’s or 60% in the local board that includes Kuwaitis and non Kuwaitis with fees starting from as low as 3000 Kuwaiti dinars… “ said Muizz Mirza – CEO at MECstudygroup.
“MECstudygroup will assist Kuwait Cricket in having close ties with all such universities in the 🇬🇧 🇦🇺 so U19 players of Kuwait who have potential to play for the national team in the future can continue to train at the highest level whilst abroad and we will also provide support in signing them up with local clubs and or counties (based on talent and past international performance) so they are able to gain the ultimate international exposure which we hope will help them return as better and stronger players for Kuwait….moving forward…since the curfew is now over and other restrictions begin to normalize in the state of Kuwait, Kuwait Cricket will organize a press conference with MECstudygroup where Kuwait news channels and leading social media channels along with the national teams of U19 & U16 will be invited by the Kuwait Cricket Board to the Kuwait Olympic Committee headquarters where the ongoing progress and the details of the 2021-22 plan (Juniors Cricket) will be shared in detail” said Sajid Mohammad Ashraf – Director General of Kuwait Cricket Club.
