Happy Dussehra – Wishes –

Dussehra or Vijaya Dashami is celebrated as the tenth day of Navratri or Durga Puja. It is observed across the nation with great pomp and show. Dussehra signifies the victory of Rama over Ravana. This day is also celebrated as Vijayadashami as it marks the end of Durga Puja. On this day, a huge sculpture of Ravana is burned to imply the victory of good over evil.
On the day of Dussehra, clay idols of goddess Durga along with those of Saraswati, Laxmi, Ganesh and Kartik, are carried in a procession and immersed in a water body. People also exchange sweets and gifts with their friends and family and send wishes. In northern India ‘Ramleela’ is observed by enacting plays from the valorous life of Lord Rama.
