Riddhi Patel, 28, a pro-Palestine protestor, is accused of 16 felony counts and booked into jail on suspicion of eight counts of intending to terrorize with the threats, and the rest of eight counts of threatening city officials during her speech.
Riddhi Patel, the woman who threatened to go to the houses of Bakersfield City Council Members and ‘murder’ pleaded not guilty to 18 felony accusations.
- Riddhi Patel is facing more than a dozen accusations of threatening with intent to terrorize and threatening public officials stemming from comments she made during the public comment period of Wednesday’s Bakersfield City Council meeting.
- Riddhi Patel pleaded not guilty and is back in court on 24th Aprila at 9 a.m.
IN COURT: Riddhi Patel, the woman who threatened Bakersfield City Council on Wednesday pleads not guilty during court appearance on Friday. Patel is facing 18 felony charges and has a bail of $1 million. She cried during her appearance and was ordered to stay at least 500 yards away from city hall if she were to bail out.
