ఒక పల్లె లో ఒక ముసలి పిసినారి, అంటే డబ్బు దాచుకోవటం తప్ప ఖర్చు పెట్టుకోవటం ఇష్టం లేని వాడు, ఉండేవాడు. అతని ఇంటి వెనుక చిన్న తోట ఉండేది. తన దగ్గరున్న బంగారు నాణాలని ఆ తోటలో రాళ్ళకింద గుంత లో దాచి, దాని పైన రాళ్లు పెట్టేవాడు. కానీ ప్రతి రోజు పడుకోబోయే ముందు ఒకసారి రహస్యం గా ఆ బంగారు నాణాలని లెక్కబెట్టుకుని మళ్లీ అక్కడే పెట్టి దాచేవాడు.
ఒక రోజు ఈ పిసినారి రోజువారీ పనులన్నీ రహస్యం గా గమనిస్తున్న ఒక దొంగ, రోజు లాగే, బంగారు నాణాలు లెక్కబెట్టి లోపల దాచేవరకు చెట్టుపైన నిశ్శబ్దంగా ఉండి, అతను లోపలికి వెళ్ళాక , గప్చిప్ గా నాణాలని దొంగిలించాడు. మర్నాడు ముసలి వాడు చూసుకుని గట్టిగా ఏడవడం మొదలుపెట్టాడు.

దానికి ఆ పిసినారి, “కొనుక్కోడామా? నేను అస్సలు ఆ బంగారం వాడనే వాడను. అది దాచుకోడానికి మాత్రమే,” అన్నాడు. ఇది విన్న ఒక అతను ఒక రాయి ఆ కుంట లోకి విసిరి, “అలా అయితే, అదే నీ సొమ్మనుకో. నువ్వు వాడనప్పుడు దానికి విలువేదీ? రాయైనా, బంగారమైన ఒకటేగా. నువ్వు వాడనప్పుడు రెండు విలువ లేనివే,” అంటూ వెళ్ళిపోయాడు.

In one village there was an old pizzeria, that is, one who did not like to spend money except to hide it. There was a small garden behind his house. He hid his gold coins in a hole under the rocks in the garden and placed stones on top of them. But every day before going to bed he would secretly count the gold coins and hide them there again.

One day a thief, who was secretly observing all the daily affairs of this pizzeria, remained silent on the tree until the day, counting the gold coins and hiding inside, and when he went inside, stole the coins as a guppy. Marnadu looked at the old man and started crying loudly.
Neighbors gathered and asked what had happened and found out. “Someone hides money at home. Outside of what, did you even put it on the ground? Can’t you just buy something with it? ” Said.

Oka palle lō oka musali pisināri, aṇṭē ḍabbu dācukōvaṭaṁ tappa kharcu peṭṭukōvaṭaṁ iṣṭaṁ lēni vāḍu, uṇḍēvāḍu. Atani iṇṭi venuka cinna tōṭa uṇḍēdi. Tana daggarunna baṅgāru nāṇālani ā tōṭalō rāḷḷakinda gunta lō dāci, dāni paina rāḷlu peṭṭēvāḍu. Oka rōju ī pisināri rōjuvārī panulannī rahasyaṁ gā gamanistunna oka doṅga, rōju lāgē, baṅgāru nāṇālu lekkabeṭṭi lōpala dācēvaraku ceṭṭupaina niśśabdaṅgā uṇḍi, atanu lōpaliki veḷḷāka, gapcip gā nāṇālani doṅgilin̄cāḍu. Marnāḍu musali vāḍu cūsukuni gaṭṭigā ēḍavaḍaṁ modalupeṭṭāḍu.
Iṇṭipakkavāḷḷu vocci, ēmi jarigindani aḍigi, telusukunnāru. “Evarainā iṇṭilō som’mu dācukuṇṭāru. Nuvvēmiṭi baiṭa, adikūḍā bhūmilō peṭṭukunnāvu? Dānitō ēdainā konukkōvālannā vīlukādu kadā?” Annāru.
