In Kuwait, businesses and government offices usually operate reduced working hours during Ramadan to accommodate the spiritual practices of Muslims. As we prepare to welcome the holiest of months, here are the updated working hours for Ramadan 2024 in Kuwait.

In a circular Sunday, the CSC gave each state department the option of selecting one timing for all staff, or allow employees to choose their work hours from the following options during the holy month:

– From 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM

– From 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM

– From 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM

– From 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM

– From 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM

The beginning of work in the holy month of Ramadan is from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., and the employee is allowed to attend at any time during that period, provided that he leaves after completing four and a half hours of work according to his attendance time. All employees will have a 15 minute of grace period, while female employees will have another 15 minutes of grace period.
