About EQUATE

EQUATE was established in 1995 as a joint venture. Its published shareholders are Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC), which represents the state, Dow, Boubyan Petrochemical Company and Qurain Petrochemical Industries Company. Its own statements have described it as the world’s second-largest producer of ethylene glycol.

KuwaitBusRoute’s page for Kuwait Bus 602 (Fahaheel to Ahmadi) lists Fahaheel and Ahmadi as its stops, and its master list, Kuwait bus routes and numbers, shows further Ahmadi services. Another KuwaitBusRoute-linked page describes Bus 999 as passing through Qibla, Sharq, the Shuwaikh Industrial Area and Ahmadi, with a journey time of about 75 to 80 minutes. Shuaiba is on the road between Fahaheel and Ahmadi, and the same routes may serve it.
