Kuwait City, 19th August, 2020:

SUSPENSION OF ON-SITE EMBASSY SERVICES STARTING 16 AUGUST 2020

The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait regrets to inform the public that five of its employees tested positive for the COVID-19. In accordance with the protocols of the World Health Organization and the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health, the Embassy announces the suspension of its services effective 16 August 2020, until further notice.

On-site operations of the Embassy, the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Social Security System (SSS), and Pag-IBIG Fund are suspended from 16 August 2020, until further notice.

The Embassy and its attached agencies will continue to serve the Filipino community in Kuwait through the following hotlines and social media accounts:

• Consular (Passport) Section hotlines: 6518-4433; 6990-2188
• ATN Unit hotline: 6500-2612, 9800-5115
• POLO-OWWA hotline: 9403-9063

Due to the limited movement of Embassy personnel at this time, Filipinos in extremely distressed situations may contact the Kuwaiti government’s emergency hotlines:

• Kuwait Police: 112 (for non-COVID-19 related cases)
• Kuwait Ministry of Health: 151 (for COVID-19 related cases)

Ikinalulungkot na ibalita sa publiko ng Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Kuwait na lima sa mga empleyado nito ang nagpositibo sa COVID-19. Bilang pagsunod sa mga alituntunin ng World Health Organization at ng Kuwaiti Ministry of Health, inaanunsyo ng Embahada ang suspensyon ng lahat ng serbisyo nito epektibo 16 Agosto 2020, hanggang sa susunod na abiso nito.

Ang mga on-site operation ng Embahada, Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Social Security System (SSS), at Pag-IBIG Fund ay suspendido mula 16 Agosto 2020, hanggang sa susunod na abiso nito.

Ang Embahada at ang mga ahensyang kaugnay nito ay patuloy na maglilingkod sa Filipino community sa Kuwait sa pamamagitan ng mga sumusunod na hotline at social media account:

• ATN Unit hotline: 6500-2612; 9800-5115
• POLO-OWWA hotline: 9403-9063

Dahil sa limitadong paggalaw ng mga tauhan ng Embahada sa panahong ito, ang mga Pilipinong nasa matinding kagipitan ay maaaring makipag-ugnayan sa mga emergency hotline ng pamahalaan ng Kuwait:

• Kuwait Police: 112 (kung walang kinalaman sa COVID-19)
• Kuwait Ministry of Health: 151 (kung may kinalaman sa COVID-19)

تأسف السفارة الفلبينية في الكويت لإبلاغ الجمهور أن خمسة من موظفيها أثبتت إصابتهم بـ COVID-19. وفقا لبروتوكولات منظمة الصحة العالمية ووزارة الصحة الكويتية ، تعلن السفارة تعليق خدماتها اعتبارا من 16 أغسطس 2020 وحتى إشعار آخر.

 

تم تعليق العمل في الموقع للسفارة ومكتب العمل الفلبيني في الخارج وإدارة رعاية العمال في الخارج ونظام الضمان الاجتماعي اعتبارًا من 16 أغسطس 2020 ، حتى إشعار آخر.

 

ستستمر السفارة والوكالات التابعة لها في خدمة الجالية الفلبينية في الكويت من خلال الخطوط الساخنة وحسابات التواصل الاجتماعي التالية:

• الخط الساخن لقسم القنصلية: 6518-4433; 6990-2188
• الخط الساخن لقسم المساعدة للجالية الفلبينية: 6500-2612, 9800-5115
• الخط الساخن لمكتب العمالة الفلبينية في الخارج (POLO-OWWA): 9403-9063

نظرًا للحركة المحدودة لموظفي السفارة في هذا الوقت ، يمكن للفلبينيين الذين يعيشون في مواقف صعبة للغاية الاتصال بالخطوط الساخنة للحكومة الكويتية:

• قسم الشرطة الكويتية: 112 (للحالات الغير متعلقة بفيروس COVID-19)
• وزارة الصحة الكويتية: 151 (للحالات المتعلقة بفيروس COVID-19)
