Kuwait City: The Ministry of Health has demanded that all governmental hospitals treat emergency patients without asking for proof of identity, local media reported. The memo stated that the hospitals should prioritize urgent medical intervention to address the patient’s condition and then once they are stable they can collect identity verification and treatment fees. The request will be reviewed by the Labor Relations Department before the application is processed, Al Rai daily reported.
