Extending the deadline for taking biometric fingerprints for citizens and residents

All transactions related to the Ministry of Interior will be stopped if the fingerprint is not taken

Based on the security institution’s keenness to facilitate the work for citizens and residents and quickly complete the work, the deadline for taking the biometric fingerprint was extended for citizens until September 30, 2024 and for residents until December 30, 2024, and the official working locations and times for taking the biometric fingerprint were determined at the General Administration of Criminal Evidence in the Personal Investigation Departments.

The Ministry clarifies that all transactions related to the Ministry of Interior will be stopped if the biometric fingerprint is not taken, and it appeals to everyone to book an appointment through the (Sahl) application, the appointment box, and for English speakers, through the “Matta” platform’s website before heading to the designated centers. No references will be received without a prior appointment.

انطلاقاً من حرص المؤسسة الأمنية للتسهيل على المواطنين والمقيمين وسرعة انجاز العمل، تم تمديد مهلة أخذ البصمة البيومترية للمواطنين حتى تاريخ 30 سبتمبر 2024 وللمقيمين حتى تاريخ 30 ديسمبر 2024، وتحديد مواقع وأوقات العمل الرسمية لأخذ البصمة البيومترية لدى الإدارة العامة للأدلة الجنائية بأقسام تحقيق الشخصية.

وتوضح الوزارة انه سوف يتم وقف جميع المعاملات الخاصة بوزارة الداخلية في حال لم يتم اخذ البصمة البيومترية، ومناشدة الجميع ضرورة حجز موعد عن من خلال تطبيق (سهل) خانة المواعيد وللناطقين باللغة الانجليزية عن طريق الموقع اللالكتروني لمنصة “متى” قبل التوجه الى المراكز المخصصة، حيث لن يتم استقبال اي مراجع من غير موعد مسبق.
