Ministry of Health, in a statement, said that 15 out of today’s tally are for citizens who traveled back from Iran and are still quarantined, while another citizen was in the United Kingdom and one citizen who returned from the United State. The other three cases are for a Spanish citizen
who recently returned from Spain and two Egyptians who were in contact with a person who came from Azerbaijan.
The statement also noted that two patients were moved out the intensive care unit, while one still in a critical condition and the state of the other ICU-bound two are stable.
The statement also pointed out that the ministry took a total of 7,525 samples from people for testing.

The Ministry of Health asked all expatriates who arrived the country on or after February 27th to visit the specially designed medical center at Mishref International Fair ground from tomorrow.
A special center is setup at the Hall no 6 of Kuwait International fair ground at Mishref near 6th ring road.
The working hours of the center is from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Special dates are allocated to all expatriates according to their governorate.
Thursday(12th March) – residents of Al Jahra governorate
Friday(13th March) – residents of Mubarak Al Kabeer governorate
Saturday(14th March) – residents of Farwaniya governorate
Sunday(15th March) – residents of Hawally governorate
Monday(16th March) – residents of Ahmadi governorate
Tuesday(17th March) – residents of Capital (Al Asima) governorate
As per the MoH directive, expatriate must carry their Civil ID Card and Passport while visiting the center. The attendance is compulsory and penalty will be applied who violate this.

The Ministry of Health announced in its daily press briefing on developments related to the Corona virus that the country detected infection of 4 new cases of “corona” during the past 24 hours bringing the total number of infected cases to 69.
One of the four infected was a person who came from Iran, another from Azerbaijan and two citizens who flew from Egypt, Ministry of Health spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said.
There were four persons admitted into the intensive care unit, three stable and one in critical condition.
