Hyderabad, 18th April 2024: Election Officer of Hyderabad Removed 541201 Voters duly following the instructions of ECI.”

District Election Officer of Hyderabad issues a notice that reads, “Since Jan 2023, as regards deletion of dead, duplicate and shifted voters, in Hyderabad district’s 15 Assembly constituencies, a total of 47,141 dead voters; 4,39,801 shifted voters and 54,259 duplicate voters have been removed from the electoral roll. That is to say, a total of 5,41,201 voters were removed from the electoral rolls duly following the instructions of ECI.”

Over 5.41 lakh voters deleted from electoral rolls in Hyderabad

 

Rose said on Wednesday that the deleted voters included dead, duplicate and shifted in the 15 Assembly segments.

Since January 2023, a total of

47,141 dead,
439,801 shifted and
54,259 duplicate voters

have been removed from the rolls in the district. ‘All deletions have been done as per procedure duly collecting Form-7 and Form-8 as per the SOP given by EC.
