His Excellency the First Deputy issues a decision approving the operation of the driver’s license and vehicle driving permit issued through the My Identity and Ministry of Interior applications by all state agencies
Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled Al-Sabah issued a ministerial decision No. 679 of 2023 to accept the driver’s license and vehicle registrations in the Kuwait Mobile ID app as a valid official document in all government and non-government transactions.
The decision stipulates that a driver’s license and a permit to operate a vehicle through Kuwait Mobile ID app is accepted by all authorities in the country, and they must be acted upon in all governmental and non-governmental transactions, and to infer their existence and validity.
